In order to ensure the Betaflight configurator can communicate with your flight controller, it is necessary to install two drivers on your PC. Both are linked on the Betaflight configurator welcome page.
First, click on the link to CP210x Drivers and follow the instructions on that page to download and install the appropriate CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Drivers for your operating system.
Next, click on the link to the STM USB VCP Drivers and follow the instructions on that page to download and install the appropriate STM32 Virtual COM Port Drivers for your operating system.
With both drivers installed, Betaflight can now communicate with any flight controller via any USB port on your PC.
