Depending on preferred setup you might find this picture helpful to properly setup motor direction:
It applies to any Owl frame.
RCGroups user Bummy91 kindly provided pictures of his Mini Owl with pusher propellers which should help to clarify this confusing topic:
Install CW prop to the motor which is marked as CW on the first diagram and then spin it via cleanflight, if quadcopter lifts then direction is correct, otherwise need to change motor direction.
Repeat same procedure for other CW and CCW props.
